Cape York 2021

After having so many restrictions over the last 18 months due to Covid-19 it is time to hit the road again. We have almost finished packing the van and have an extra person this year. Scott hasn’t had a very good run this past few months so he is taking time out to come for some adventure, to sit around the fire under the stars to reset for a fresh start on his return. Once again we are travelling with friends Michelle and Trevor Prendergast and their dog Ruby. Emma is unfortunately not able to come on most of the trip, she will be at boarding school but will join us for 3 weeks during her holidays. We leave on 30th May with our three dogs Phoebe, Chloe and brand new puppy Missy. We plan to leave our vans at some point and do some real camping. Enjoy catching up with our progress and photos but again remember I am not a writer I just like to share. My parents call it their armchair travel. We will head for Longreach then head up to Normonton so Jock can do some fishing, then check out Bourketown before heading for Cairns. We will catch up with Emma there and then head on up in to the Cape. Who knows which way we will head home, watch this space!

2019 Kimberley Adventure

We have sold our Motorhome and bought an off road Caravan called The Beast and a Toyota 200 series Landcruiser. Plans are full steam ahead for our next adventure, our first off road trip. End of next month (April) we are heading up to The Kimberley’s, Western Australia taking in many sights on our way up and on our way back down. We will finish our trip in September after the Birdsville Races our last planned stop.

We are travelling with friends, Michelle and Trevor Prendergast and their daughter Emma and Mick and Joy Mahe. We will have our Chihuahua’s Phoebe and Chloe with us.

This blog will be private for friends and family only. I am no writer I just want to share our photos and experiences.

  1. If you decided you need help, let me know. Blogging is a lot of fun, and is the reason for my trip to Toowoomba. The Eternal Traveler lives there. 🙂

    • Thanks Marsha. Having problems finding my way about but hope over the weeks of travel I will get used to it all. Do not seem to get much time to play around with it at the moment. Watch this space….
